Who Am I?

An Instructor with Connection

I always knew that I wanted to become a professional trumpet Instructor. In fact, I can’t imagine anything better in life that would bring me such reward, benefit or satisfaction. I’ve been teaching since 2016 and truly believe that anyone who puts in the time and effort to practice can succeed. I first started teaching while in high school, I started with a studio of purely brass students. I maintained this studio while attending the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY for B.M. Music Education/Performance.

While at the College of Saint Rose, Chris became the youngest professionally endorsed artist with Phaeton Trumpets in November of 2020 and bides by his oath to betterment of teaching in private instruction as his main priority with his artist endorsement. In 2021, Chris visited schools digitally and in person across the country including Skyview High School, Rocky's Music Studio, The College of Idaho and Idaho Arts Charter School. At these different locations, all of the topics were different, from fundamental air support and building diaphragm muscles to directing a 20 piece big band and instructing about improvisation and how jazz works in modern day music.

I don’t believe money should ever stand in the way of a proper education and good learning, which is why I’m proud to offer a range of different lesson types at affordable prices with payment plans. To find out more about my private lessons, weekly studio class or teaching approach, please get in touch. with me and I would love to talk more!
